CB&T Celebrates 66 Years

On May 14th we celebrate our 66th Anniversary!

Same ownership, same name, same original location (plus a few new locations), and the same business philosophy of state of the art technology combined with face-to-face personal service.

Many new improvements have occurred over 66 years - new locations, online and mobile banking, and a full line of trust and investment services. In some respects, the best part of the past 66 years is what has not changed, like our financial strength, our name, our ownership, and our commitment to serving you beyond expectations.

Building Financial Strength

Many financial institutions talk about their growth. What a lot of these banks are really saying is that they are larger because they have acquired other financial institutions and their customers, or they have branched into another city. That is certainly one way to grow!

We have been a Waco and McLennan County bank since we were founded in 1952. There is no need for us to branch into another city. This is where we started, and this is where we want to do business for years to come.

Our Growth Plan

At CB&T, we feel the best way to grow is to add new customers, while keeping existing customers happy, in the city where we do business. Some bankers call this "organic" growth. Our customers simply call it "great service!"

Our goal for the next 66 years is to continue to be the locally owned bank in which you place your confidence and trust.
