Serving our Community
It’s no accident that the word “Community” is in our name - it’s who we are. At Community Bank & Trust we’re focused on growing relationships with our customers and our community. We strive to not only serve our customers financially, but we are committed to giving back to the community in which we live and work.
We Serve Waco
Since our inception, Community Bank & Trust has worked to make a difference in our community each and every day. For over 70 years, we have believed in supporting and giving back to the community we serve. When we grow, so does the impact we have on the Waco community. We invest our time, talent and resources to help build a brighter future in the place where we call home.
Our Community Commitment

Dr. Ray Perryman
Dr. Ray Perryman visited with CB&T Wealth Management & Trust customers concerning key trends affecting the Waco-area economy and on his outlook for the community's financial future.

Baylor Impact Awards
CB&T received the Community Commitment and the Texas Family Business of the Year awards at the Baylor Impact Awards ceremony at Baylor University. These are awarded to businesses that demonstrate a commitment to improving their community, and to successful, multi-generational, family-owned businesses – two categories in which we are very honored to be recognized.

Waco ISD SurPRIZE Patrol
CB&T joined the Waco ISD Education Foundation SurPRIZE Patrol. Our bankers surprised a deserving third grade math teacher at Cedar Ridge Elementary with a grant to fund math manipulatives for her classroom next year.

Teaching Financial Literacy
A group of students from Waco Montessori School visited the bank for the first time! Financial literacy is one of our passions and we believe a child is never too young to begin instilling good financial habits. These students loved learning about deposits and withdrawals, and of course getting to peek inside the vault!

Outstanding Community Partner
CB&T’s Paige Beasley and Lisa Hull accepted recognition on behalf of the bank as an Outstanding Community Partner for CB&T’s partnership with Waco High School at a recent Waco ISD board meeting. We love partnering with Waco High’s Reading Plus program to offer support to students who complete the program each six weeks!

Bankers' Build 2021
With the help of some friends in the Waco banking Community and the Cooper Foundation, we were delighted to break ground on a new home with Waco Habitat for Humanity. This Bankers’ Build home is in honor of our dear friend and colleague Mark Boyd who passed away unexpectedly in 2017. Mark had a passion for Habitat for Humanity and served on their board for many years.
